Vintage Framed Amateur Pen and Ink Line Drawing Deer in Woodland Scene

For sale is a lovely line drawing of a woodland scene of a young doe and buck in love.  It appears that the artist sketched out the scene in regular pencil, then refined and completed with black pen, adding shading and a color with 3 pencils:  gray, gold and brown.  The artist "Tommy" was clearly talented and could have been a professional artist or illustrator.  This piece was probably framed in the 1940s or 50s although the backing paper has been replaced with modern holiday wrapping paper.  The condition is very good.  The frame is tight and well-chosen for the subject matter and earthy colors.  There are several minor nicks on the frame, especially the outer most edge.  There are 3 tiny specks under the glass.  It measures 10 1/8 X 12 3/8".
