Artist - Herta Czoernig (1886-1970) Pair of Signed Vintage Hand Colored Etchings of Franz Schubert's Home.
A pair of vintage, framed pieces of art from estate. Herta Czoernig traveled around Vienna with her sketchbook, pen and crayons to sketch and hand color the homes of different composers. One of these is of Franz Schubert's home and the other is of the courtyard of his home.
These are both signed by the artist in the bottom right corner. Framed size is approx 12.25" x 13.25".
Please note that there is some dirt and some nicks, scratches and marks on the frames that would be consistent with their age. These could easily be reframed for a wonderful presentation. Also, on the bottom right hand corner of the courtyard piece, please note there appears to be an indication of some light water damage. I believe this would be fairly easy to cover with reframing and doesn't take away from the overall beauty of the art. However, you be the judge and the please take a close look at all the pics and let me know if you have any questions.
