This is a set of 8 General's artist's water color pencils, which appear to be from the 1950s. There is no zip code on the box, which indicates that they were made prior to 1962. The box is sturdy. It can be converted to an easel pencil display using the scores on the box, if desired. Wet brush and wet paper techniques are explained on the back of the box. BACKGROUND: This is one of many things I bought from a neighbor when she moved to assisted living. She had lots of quite old (and very well maintained) things.
